Ankur Rishikul Vidyalaya (ARV)

Ankur Rishikul Vidyalaya (ARV) is a school where tradition and technology meet to offer a progressive and Holistic Approach to child education.

At ARV we believe that: "Learning is fun and is also the greatest adventure of our lives.

At ARV we also believe that first the teachers and parents should be educated and then only the child can be taught properly. Therefore, all the parents and teachers undergo special training programmes to understand the nuances of raising a child and managing their lives. We hold regular sessions for the parents and teachers in order that their learnings are enhanced and they are thus able to teach the child in the best manner.

We therefore focus on making our children strong and energetic individuals who are complete individuals in every aspect; they are assertive in their interactions with the society and can express themselves without hesitation. We also teach our children to be happy with one's self - this aids in moving towards heightened spiritual development.

The unique pedagogy of ARV is drawn from the best principles of child development across the world. We blend traditional tools and techniques with the newer researches and work towards developing happy and complete individuals. Our beliefs and practices have translated into two basic programmes: The Infant Siddha Programme (Art of Parenting) and the Siddha Samadhi Yoga (Self and Life Management).
Infant Siddha Programme

• Is about developing a child naturally and to develop the child's intelligence and not just the memory.

• Evolved by the techniques of Guruji Shri Rishi Prabhakar, a lot of insight from Shri Raviji and compilation and systemization from Shri Manoj Lekhi.

• Techniques borrowed from Glenn Domain and other resources.

• 9 week programme where a parent goes through "how to develop a child physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually". Physically means manual, mobility and balance. Mentally means how to read, how to direct, how to teach them maths through the Montessori and the dot card way. Socially is how to naturally discipline the child without using the word "don't". Emotionally is allowing them to express themselves and the parents. To make the parent more spiritually evolved.

• Every week, newer techniques are imparted to the parents through the advance ISP programme.

Siddha Samadhi Programme

• Is about how to develop oneself, develop one's own consciousness so that one becomes selfless rather than selfish.

• Everybody involved in ARV, parents, teachers all go through this programme.

• Nature Camps are held once every 3-4 months to reinforce the techniques learnt.

• It is a programme of self development - physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual. Physically means managing our body. Mentally means managing ones mind through the process of meditation i.e. not lets any disease come like diabetes, blood pressure etc. Socially means how to manage ones parents, children, friends etc. Managing emotions effectively. Spiritual evolved is to be happy for no reasons.
